The Author

I’m a hobbyist computer programmer based in Saint Louis, Missouri. I deeply enjoy the process of studying a specific subject or problem and synthesizing my findings into writing. This site hosts these writings and allows me to share them more easily.

Beyond learning, I love writing Python programs and tinkering with operating systems. I’m on the autism spectrum and currently work in a non-technical field to support myself while keeping software as a personal passion.

I hold a culturally-progressive and economically-conservative libertarian worldview, ensuring members of both major American political parties find me extremely irritating to talk to. While I don’t intend to write on explicitly political topics, my political views will nonetheless influence how I write about the decidedly non-political.


The Content

This blog hosts my personal essays and research projects, largely consisting of either facts I found interesting enough to write about or my own musings on various technical subjects. I also intend to use this blog to showcase programming projects which I consider personal achievements.

Despite my political leanings, I remain extremely skeptical toward the use of generative artificial intelligence for most purposes. I write neither prose nor programs with the help of AI tooling, and have no intention of doing so in the future. Bite me, futurists.
