The Author

I’m an amateur essayist and programmer based in Saint Louis, Missouri. I love to write Java programs, tinker with Linux, work with wood, spend time reading, write out my thoughts, and turn random questions that pop into my head into personal research projects. I created this site as a low-stakes self-publishing medium for my essays.

The Content

This blog hosts my personal essays and research projects, largely consisting of either facts I found interesting enough to write about or my own musings on various subjects. I also intend to use this blog to showcase programming projects which I consider personal achievements.

I remain extremely skeptical toward the use of generative artificial intelligence for almost all literary purposes. I write neither prose nor programs with the help of AI tooling, and have no intention of doing so in the future. Bite me, futurists.
